Carnivore Steak and Grill, Best Steaks
Deserving" The Best Steak" Title is a hard task indeed with the massive competition across southern Thailand.
But something Gidi does , in his little kitchen brings out the best in the Chilled Angus Beef he has on the menus, it may be that he takes care with the finish and the final flavor where most chefs just rely on the quality product. The Same products are found in the finest Resorts in the region, though he respects and nurtures
the natural caramel flavors in the products.
What ever his personal final touch is , Gid repeatedly surprises me with the flavor and care when preparing the final dishes taste and texture.
I would describe Carnivore as the best tasting Local restaurant in Ao nang , an established,
& legendary place for flavor ,where people go with friends every week, for best flavor some meals and a relaxing time.
You can relax and watch as guests take that first bite and there faces light up
with surprise, instantly deciding on the spot to return again.
I highly recommend making a trip to Krabi just to have a meal with Gidi. have a Tenderloin or a rib eye
and it will be in your top steak house list for life.
Gidi really does it best when it comes to pure natural Flavor.

Farang Food Phuket
A very popular location due to great little dishes low prices but good quality and tasty.
Consistent in flavor and service a very popular great place to fill your hunger any day of the week.
Can't believe that we waited SO long before trying Farang...the one in Cherngtalay near our villa home. We'd been told by lots of Expats that this was the FAST FOOD equivalent in Thailand. This is a no frills place with darn good food. The Fish & Chips are my favorite but the pizza and caprese salad rank #2. Not really sure how the 'tourist' would find out about this place, there are several locations in Phuket.

My last 2 trips there this year was kinda disappointing as well. First time, somewhere near CNY, a lot of seafood was sold out, even the beer! Thought cos we were there late, so the next time we decided to get there earlier, and this time, the crab where sold out!
Service was also very slow and not enuff people to serve the customers.
Food wise, I think price is still ok, but I think the food is not longer as good as when it was less well known.... planning to try senibong next round...

This is located opposite the Yishun sports hall.... at the cross junction there... if you take mrt, during the durian seasons, u might notice people waiting there... is been 2 years since I been there, not sure if it is still around.

Have not been to Jogoya before, but I've been to the Gonbei opposite. Priced similarly to Jogoya if not wrong, and I thought the service and food was pretty good.

I went with 7 adults and 1 kid, we spent less than $120. I would safely hazard a guess of $18 - $25 per person, depending on how hungry you get. Real value for money for quality food.

Is diagonally opposite Jogoya. Supposedly the quality is better than Jogoya. Price wise, if we convert currency, then Malaysia is cheaper. If we do not convert currency, then Singapore is cheaper. Generally, a japanese buffet in Siingapore is around SGD30+ range.
